Pewter Scorpion These West African life size scorpions are highly detailed, measuring 9 inches in length if it were to be laid out flat, but it isn't. The tail is curved up at a 30 degree slant, raising the tip of the tail 2 inches off the ground. The distance between the claw tips or across the leg tips is 3 inches. The body is sloping down in the front about 1/2 inch off the ground, while the tail end is about 3/4 inch off the ground. The scorpion has a very shiny metallic finish, with the low areas only slightly darkened to give better contrast to the details. This is not the traditional dark pewter finish.
